Opening and Closing ceremony. At festival 8 this year I will be leading an opening and closing ceremony for the festival, supported my many friends and organisers of the festival. Our intention will be to connect with the land here, honour the guardian and spirits of the land and ask for permission to thoroughly enjoy and play in their space, whilst having respect for the land and everyone around us. We will be asking for their support and assistance in energetically holding the space, so we are safe to let go of our everyday concerns and enjoy the love

Playing in the Party Barn on Saturday early evening. A great sound and they are making headway in creating a national reputation. 'Ebullient, heartfelt alt-folk duo' 'A cross between The Tallest Man on Earth, early Bon Iver and The Lumineers' Stables was formed in January 2016 during late night drinks between Matthew and Daniel in London. Matthew was working on a new project idea at the time and, after playing through what was to become their first single, 'Steam', at 5 am, the duo was born, and quickly went public four months later. 'Beyond Brushes' (their debut album) was
Another new activity to Festival 8 this year. Archery, Knife and Axe throwing!!! We have negotiated with this local Lincolnshire business for reduced rates for our Festival 8 family. Back 2 Bear are based at LRAC Kenwick hill, Louth. They offer a range of outdoor activities, some which might even get a teenager off their screens and into nature. We applaud their efforts and are very happy to welcome them to join with us this year. You can find out more about them at https://www.back2bear.co.uk/
