Food for Mood and Foraging Workshop

Nutrition plays a huge role in ones emotional and cognitive state and has great impact on our overall sense of wellbeing, we are passionate about a truly holistic approach to health and wellbeing and so were thrilled when Owen approached us to offer his expertise – offering a talk on food for mood and a full foraging workshop you will find out more on the talks boards in the wellbeing area.

Owen Raybould is a Worcestershire-based dietary health coach, foraging instructor and published writer on the subject of food and mood. He has worked with MIND and also Worcester University and runs well-established courses and talks on the subject of healthy eating.  His ‘Food and Mood’ talk covers the recent science that now confirms that nutrition is essential for good mental health.  The talk also aims to empower the audience with ideas for building their own version of a great ‘food and mood’ diet.

Owen’s forage walks introduce people to some of the edible plants that grow in our natural areas such as hedgerows, nature reserves and even sometimes urban parks or our own gardens. Foraging is both an enlightening and therapeutic activity. It forms an ideal compliment to Owen’s more classroom-based talks and courses.

As a passionate advocate for healthy living, Owen’s material will provide food for thought and may also challenge some of your existing notions about what is healthy when it comes what we eat and even some aspects of how we live our lives.
