Laughter Yoga

We had these workshops last year and the feedback was fantastic.  People wanted more and we wanted to share it with more people too.  This wonderful workshop will leaving you feeling great.  There is no balancing or standing in weird postures for hours.  Laughter Yoga is all about the breathing and the simple exercises to get you moving and laughing.... it doesn't even have to be funny and has to be experienced to be understood.  We highly recommend this as a way to start off your day at Festival 8.  Wes is a great workshop leader and will help you feel

Dressing Up – Prices Down

You may have realised by now that Festival 8 is an interactive festival.  We hope you will join in the fun.  Part of joining in is dressing up.  Dressing up helps to get in the party mood, it reminds you and everyone else that you are in a place out of the ordinary.  We hope you will at least wear bright colours and perhaps a silly hat, but for many people, they will want to really get in the spirit and find a full costume. We are delighted to announce in partnership with Twinkles Fancy Dress of Cleethorpes.  www.twinklesfancydress.com/ you

Geofest

Festival 8's organisers know some lovely talented folk that have been very helpful in our first year of setting up this wonderful event.  We saw one of the Geofest creative walkabouts and knew straight away we had to have them involved in the festival.  Geofest will be on hand to work along side the Earthbound Misfits and be providing not only a giant feature for the parade but also some of their signature workshops and activities. GeoFest Collective are a group of Midlands based performers specialising in unique walkabout acts, varied workshops and energetic shows incorporating fire, glow and live music.'

The Earthbound Misfits

While planning Festival 8 we decided an essential element, that we have seen work so well at other festivals, was to ensure we had both things for children and big kids to do, plus we wanted to have some interactive walkabout characters.  Luckily for us, we have a very successful local company that offers all those services.   The Earthbound misfits were written into our festival plan and we know that you will love interacting with them and joining in with their fun and games. The Earthbound Misfits are based in Lincolnshire and are a bespoke entertainments company.  The Misfits were established
